RN (Nights, 7p-7a)

RN Full Time position working 12 hour shifts (7p-7a) open Monday - Friday and weekends (when necessary). Responsible for providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care by incorporating all aspects of the Care Delivery Model. Primary role is to use the nursing process in overseeing patient care to achieve the desired outcome in the center. Responsible for assessing educational needs of patients and educating the patient and family. Must comply with applicable Joint Commission standards and IDPH codes.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
•Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois.
•Must have a minimum of two years of experience within the last five years in the post-anesthesia recovery unit or medical/surgical unit of an acute care hospital or in an ambulatory surgical treatment center.
•Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
•Possesses sound decision making/problem solving and critical thinking skills.
•Successful completion of CPR and ACLS Certifications required.
•Ability to provide coverage in different departments as required.
•Ability to assist in lifting patients and equipment.

OR Circulator

RN full time position working 10 hour shifts (6:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) in the operating room. Open Monday – Fridays. Closed on Weekends and Holidays. Must comply with applicable Joint Commission standards, HIPAA and IDPH requirements.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois
• Previous experience in as an operating room nurse at an Ambulatory Surgery Center or hospital preferred.
• Posses good oral and written communication skills
• Possesses sound decision making / problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Successful completion of CPR and ACLS and PALS certification if required
