RN for Pre/Post Op and Procedure Room

Salary: Negotiable
RN willing to work Full-Time in multi-specialty surgery center and Pain Procedure Room. 40 hours per week (M,T, W, Th). Must comply with applicable AAAHC standards, HIPAA and IDPH requirements.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Registered Professional Nurse in the State of Illinois
- Previous experience in an Ambulatory Surgery Center preferred.
- Possess good oral and written communication skills
- Possess sound decision making / problem solve and possess critical thinking skills
- Ability to interview patients, perform pre-testing, admit patients, recover patients, discharge patients with appropriate documentation
- Circulate in the procedure room and administer IVCS when necessary
- Transcribe and implement physicians orders
- Perform IV punctures, dispense medication, venipunctures
- Recognize monitor rhythms
- Knowledge of appropriate policy and procedures
- Communicate effectively along appropriate channels about patient care or personnel matters
- Adhere to the policies and procedures
- Maintain safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Use effective and efficient work environment
